When Emily Torres founded Torres Ceramics, her vision was simple: to create timeless, high-quality pottery that feels at home anywhere, whether on your table, in your kitchen, or in your shop. Each piece is made to spark lasting memories. What began as a college passion soon grew into a lifelong pursuit.
Deeply inspired by the natural and organic beauty of the earth, Emily incorporates leaves and flowers as recurring motifs, making them a central theme throughout her work. These elements connect each piece back to the landscapes and rhythms that first inspired her craft.
Along the way, Emily trained in studios across Chicago, learning from some of the city’s most accomplished ceramicists and continually refining her technique. Today, every piece she creates is more than pottery. It is a vessel for meals, gatherings, and the shared moments that bring people together.
